Did You Forget?

In the world that we live in, It’s easy to forget how powerful we are.

We have hundreds of messages coming at us daily reminding us how imperfect we are.

Scroll social media for just a few minutes and I’m sure you could compile a mile-long list about everything you’re doing wrong.

Flip through a magazine and see the ads on every single page showing us what we need to buy to look younger, thinner, prettier, etc.

It’s exhausting.

So here’s my challenge to you.

See all of that stuff, every single day, and still choose to love yourself.

It sounds simple, but let’s face it…

Most of us allow ourselves to get stuck spinning out, judging ourselves, and thinking we need to be fixed.

What if instead... you just started to witness yourself doing this.

And then, what if you decided to normalize it?

Because, I mean, what else do you do when you’re constantly bombarded by these reminders?

And then, what if you decided to get really crazy, and decide to love yourself no matter what?

Yesno matter how much you’re making right now, what job you have, what milestone you did or did not hit, how much you weigh, or what anyone else is doing.

See it all. And love yourself anyways.

This subtle yet powerful decision is what allows for change and transformation.

Thinking there’s something wrong with you and that you need to change will keep you stuck your whole life.

So next time you catch yourself getting pulled down, choose love. And just see what happens.
